E³UDRES² Call-to-Action

Connect your Programme to the E³UDRES² Network

E³UDRES² invites you to connect with your counterparts across the alliance — to exchange ideas, strengthen your professional network, and develop meaningful educational collaborations that benefit both staff and students.

Your institution is part of E³UDRES², one of the European University Alliances working to shape the future of higher education in Europe. Over the past two years, we have laid the foundation of our alliance. Now, we are entering the next phase: actively connecting our study programmes, courses and academic communities across institutions. As teachers, researchers, study programme managers and deans, you play a crucial role in bringing this collaboration to life.

What Can You Do?

There are multiple ways to get involved, depending on your role, ambition and availability:

1. Guest Lectures (Low Threshold, High Impact)

Invite a colleague from another E³UDRES² partner to contribute to your course — or offer to give a guest lecture in theirs.

  • A single online or on-site lecture

  • A research presentation within a course

  • A thematic contribution that complements existing teaching

  • Short-term and flexible

This is an excellent first step to explore collaboration and introduce students to international perspectives.

2. Co-Teaching & Staff Exchange

Take collaboration one step further by engaging in:

  • Joint teaching activities

  • Short teaching visits

  • Job shadowing

  • Developing shared course elements

This option strengthens long-term collaboration, supports staff mobility, and fosters deeper academic connections between programmes.

3. Joint Programmes (For Deans & Faculty Leaders)

If you are a dean, faculty leader or programme director, we encourage you to explore strategic collaboration such as:

  • Double degree programmes

  • Multiple degree programmes

  • Joint Bachelor or Master programmes

This is an opportunity to structurally align programmes across institutions and create innovative, European-level educational pathways.

4. Shared Lectures & Open Courses

You can also open (part of) your course to students from other E³UDRES² partners.

Examples:

  • A single shared lecture

  • A lecture series

  • A module from an existing course

This allows students to benefit from expertise across the alliance without immediately restructuring full programmes.
