E³UDRES² in the spotlights at the Higher Education Summit in Hasselt

From 6-8 September 2022, Hasselt University opened its doors for a three-day physical conference in Belgium. Debates, that were started during the online teaser, continued on site. The conference focused on what the future of education could look like, how we can adapt to make it happen and how education can foster this.

We are very proud that four of our E³UDRES² colleagues participated in this summit and presented our European project to a lot of possible stakeholders.

Sara Gilissen (UCLL) and Ann Reulens (UCLL) presented the I Living Labs as an interdisciplinary and international cocreation format to transform our regions and as a place where the knowledge triangle (research -education – innovation) is integrated with entrepreneurship for smart and sustainable education and regions. Through an Action Atelier, an interactive workshops of 90 minutes, Sara and Ann presented the I Living Labs as a good practice for a societal transformation – all together with the audience. Researchers in the domain of Circular economy, Sarah De Coninck (UCLL) and Alexandra Anderluh (STPUAS), presented the E³UDRES² initiative Change cornEr, a transformative space for engaging the community in circular economy. During their Action Atelier they worked together with the audience to uncover barriers and good practices related to circular economy, and envision and ideal circular future. Their baseline sums it up: CHANGE is just around the CORNER. Read their article here.

Thank you Sara, Ann, Sarah and Alexandra for spreading the E³UDRES² vibe!
