Partners from the E³UDRES² alliance met on 4–5 March in Enschede to review progress toward the development of Regional Innovation Hubs. These hubs aim to create open spaces where universities, businesses, and communities can work together to develop new ideas and solutions.
Reviewing Progress and Preparing the Next Steps
During the meeting, partners reflected on the progress already made in strengthening support for entrepreneurship across the alliance. They also prepared for the next milestone, which focuses on defining what an “ideal” Regional Innovation Hub could look like at each institution. This includes exploring how innovation spaces can best support collaboration, creativity, and regional development.
A key upcoming activity is a series of visits to all partner institutions. These visits will help understand how entrepreneurship structures are currently being implemented, identify local strengths, and learn more about each partner’s vision for their future innovation hub. This shared learning process will help align regional approaches and encourage deeper cooperation.
The discussions in Enschede highlighted the importance of working openly and collaboratively to create strong innovation environments that benefit students, staff, businesses, and communities across all E³UDRES² regions.
