Representatives from across the E³UDRES² Alliance gathered in Glasgow, Scotland, this week for the EAIE 2026 Conference and Exhibition, joining thousands of higher education professionals from around the world to exchange ideas, build new connections and explore the future of international higher education.
The week began with a Partners Day hosted by Glasgow Caledonian University, where participants had the opportunity to visit the campus, explore research facilities, engage in inspiring discussions and connect with partners from across Europe and beyond.
Strengthening International Partnerships at EAIE 2026
For E³UDRES², EAIE is an important platform to strengthen collaboration, foster new partnerships and share how European Universities can create impact through innovation, entrepreneurship and regional engagement. Throughout the conference, alliance representatives are meeting collaborators, exchanging experiences and exploring opportunities for future cooperation.
A highlight of this year's programme was the contribution of Martin Hochreiter from USTP – University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten, who hosted the session "Duty of Care for Global Mobility: Applying ISO 31030 with Crisis Team Drills", addressing approaches to safe and responsible international mobility.
By bringing together people from different countries, institutions and professional backgrounds, EAIE continues to create opportunities for meaningful exchange and collaboration. These conversations support E³UDRES²'s mission of connecting people, ideas and regions to shape the future of higher education and address real-world challenges together.
