International E³UDRES² Guests Visited St. Pölten UAS To Boost Collaboration

Fostering academic exchange and collaborative opportunities, a delegation comprising researchers and lecturers from E³UDRES² institution UC Leuven-Limburg University of Applied Sciences (UAS) embarked on a fruitful visit to St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Austria. The visit served as a platform for the exchange of experiences, insights, and ideas as the guests engaged with counterparts from various departments at St. Pölten UAS. Discussions ranged from teaching methodologies and research interests to potential joint projects and partnerships, highlighting the shared commitment to academic excellence and innovation. Throughout the visit, the participants seized the opportunity to share insights into each others academic programs, research initiatives, and institutional frameworks.

Visitors enjoyed exploring the various facilities and labs of the St. Pölten UAS campus, as well as the many open, collaborative spaces designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration. The first day of the visit was rounded off by a guided tour through the baroque city of St. Pölten. With many new connections made, the visit stands as a testament to the power of international partnerships in driving innovation, diversity, and excellence in higher education.

ADVANCING SOCIAL SCIENCES

Earlier in April, the department of Social Sciences at St. Pölten UAS also welcomed colleagues from the E³UDRES² network: Colleagues from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and Fulda University of Applied Sciences Fulda travelled to Austria to connect and exchange with their Austrian counterparts. The group discussed joint research projects with members of the Ilse Arlt Institute for Social Inclusion Research based at the Austrian institution, including Michaela Moser, Anna Unterwurzacher and Veronika Reidinger. Fulda UAS was represented by Martina Ritter and Stamatia Devetzi, Saxion UAS brought in Peter Gramberg and Brian Rengers.
