E³UDRES² introduced prospective students to the European dimension of higher education at the IPS Open Campus Day

E³UDRES²’s participation in the Open Campus day at the Polytechnic University of Setúbal once again highlighted the role of European cooperation in fostering academic experiences that are more international, collaborative, and relevant to younger generations.

Throughout the initiative, thousands of high school and vocational students had the opportunity to engage with the European dimension of IPS through activities organised by E³UDRES², learning about international projects, mobility opportunities, collaborative programs, and innovation initiatives developed within the framework of the European university alliance.

In an environment marked by closeness, sharing, and interaction, participants were able to discover how E³UDRES² promotes cross-border learning experiences based on innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and regional impact. Direct contact with students, teams, and representatives involved in various alliance projects also helped highlight not only the available opportunities but also the human and intercultural experiences that are part of an increasingly connected European university.

Through a short interactive game that offered a small prize to the winners, the sharing of experiences and contacts, and the presentation of the alliance’s various initiatives and events, many of the young visitors had their first exposure to more participatory and multidisciplinary learning models, where teamwork, creativity, and collaboration across different cultures play a central role.

More than just promoting international initiatives, E³UDRES²’s presence at the Open Campus event showed prospective students that higher education today transcends the physical boundaries of the classroom, fostering transformative experiences that connect academic knowledge, personal development, and engagement with contemporary social challenges.

At a particularly significant time for many young people who are beginning to reflect on their academic and professional paths, exposure to the reality of E³UDRES² also represented an opportunity to envision a more international, inclusive, and future-oriented higher education.
